The Home Survey RICS Level 2 report has been designed to give you concise information about the condition of a property. 

The RICS Level 2 Home Survey Report is suitable for all traditionally built houses and apartments, built after 1900, that appear to be in a reasonable condition. The report will help reveal defects that are not easily spotted by an untrained eye. The level 2 report uses a clear traffic-light coding system to describe the condition of each area of the property, and highlight any problems your surveyor has identified.

Our Level 2 Home report also includes a valuation of the property to help you decide if the price you are paying is reasonable.

The report is written in plain English and broken down into the following sections:

  • A summary of condition ratings and the surveyor’s overall opinion of the property
  • Features of the property
  • Elements outside of the property and their condition

  • Garages, permanent outbuildings, grounds and their condition
  • Issues for your legal advisers to pay attention to

  • Market value (whether or not your purchase price is acceptable)
